Livret de service

“Writing in a hammock, enveloped, in suspension. Isolated. Except for the noises that filter in from the outside, muffled by cloth, foreign sounds that enter my ears and become mine.” (excerpt from Livret de service)

Livret de service is a compilation of texts I wrote between September 2009 and March 2010, while executing social work in Brazil. Autobiographical, sometimes intimate, these writings attest to a process of transition, a moment of intense introspection, while confronted to an unknown place.
