Sur nos monts (Swiss psalm)

The history of the Swiss psalm is quite peculiar: by default, this provisional anthem became the official national anthem in the beginning of the 1980’s. It has never been very popular and, therefore, only few citizens know the text by heart. Since its lyrics begin with “When the morning skies grow red on the Alps”, I decided to sit in a mountain landscape in the early morning to try and learn the anthem, sentence after sentence. The learning process determined the duration of the video.
